Review of F-Secure by Anti-Virus-Review.Net:

F-Secure provides a highly effective and user-friendly antivirus program. While it lacks some of the features and awards that Kaspersky offers, it is a close second and is easier to use.

The virus detection of this product was very good, and almost got everything that Kaspersky did. However it missed a couple of the trojans and several other "unknown" viruses that were only detectable by heuristics. The virus updates happen so often that we are confident that they were picked up on definitions and would be detected very shortly. F-Secure also was effective at detecting all of the email worms we tested on. The only features we missed were the scan scheduling and a built in Firewall that many others offered.

The interface for this software is very easy to use for novices. With its intuitive interface and "virus news" information this interface was extremely easy to use and informative.

Installation was very easy as well and incredibly straightforward. After you download their installer it will walk you through very easy steps. Were up and running in about 10 minutes and takes up about 19 MBs, very fast and small.

We didn't need to ask any questions but the software is backed by email and web support along with complete help documents.

F-Secure Antivirus 2005 was highly effective antivirus protection that sports a good interface. The performance was ok with decent scan times and low resource usage on your system. This software provides a good choice for novices and those wanting very good system protection with a friendly interface and good virus information.
